2. YOU ARE WORKING WITH PASSION ON SOMETHING YOU LOVE TO DO OR CREATE. IT’S NOT WORK….IT’S FUN! MY DAYS FLY BY DOING THINGS I LOVE TO DO AND TALKING AND MEETING WITH INTERESTING PEOPLE.
3. MAKING YOUR OWN HOURS IS GREAT BUT CHALLENGING. IF YOU CHOOSE TO PLAY HOOKY, GO AHEAD. BUT YOU WON’T GET PAID TODAY!
4. FIND A PRODUCT OR SERVICE THAT BENEFITS PEOPLE AND GET GOOD AT TELLING THE STORY. YOU WILL BE AMAZED AT HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE INTERESTED IN SOMEONE WHO CARES ABOUT THEM.
Having said all that – at the beginning you can expect some self-doubt and negativity to creep in, and you will have a few sleepless nights. This is all much easier to do when you are young without a family and financial responsibilities.
But if you are employed and need to make significant money to survive, work your side hustle and watch your dreams come true.
In my life I have achieved almost every athletic and professional goal I have ever set for myself, from playing major college basketball and football, to playing professional football, broadcasting for FOX Sports and ESPN, and owning my own business.
